Henderson Touw MSAc, Dipl Ac, L.Ac

Henderson Touw is an acupuncturist, the owner, and founder of Hehsaid Therapy, a clinic inspired by following the medical mission of Jesus Christ. Through His loving-kindness (Hebrew word chesed), God’s unconditional love heals the spirit/heart through the body.

Most importantly, continue to show deep love for each other, for love covers a multitude of sins.” I Peter 4:8 (NLT)

Just as “love covers a multitude of sins,” so does a cheerful heart heal the body and spirit.

With this guiding principle, Henderson will work with your unique history to treat the underlying cause(s) using his training in Chinese medical therapies and nutrition. But first and foremost, he will work with you to have love for yourself and others to bring about healing from within.

Henderson is also the host of Commune and Tea offered the third Sunday of each month from 2-4pm. If you like acupuncture, tea, and helping others you will love Commune and Tea. "Commune & Tea" with us while helping those who are unable to afford regular acupuncture treatment. This special monthly session combines the benefits of scalp/auricular based acupuncture (or ear seeds for those who are needle shy) with the meditative experience of drinking tea. Henderson will offer one to three protocols (NADA, Battlefield or Combination) for you based on a brief history that he will take. While the needles are in for the hour, a selection of three teas will be provided (caffeinated, herbal, blends) for your enjoyment as you rest and relax. Before you leave, a three serving satchel of each tea will be given to you to take home and enjoy. Teas will change every month, so there is always something new to look forward to with every session. The fee is $50.00 and $35.00 of the fee will be donated to current patients with financial hardships to cover the cost of their community acupuncture treatments.

Henderson also offers Community Acupuncture every Saturday from 3-6pm for and the fee is $35.00. Community Acupuncture is where you are treated in a group setting instead of one on one.  Henderson will offer one to three protocols (NADA, Battlefield or Combination) for you based on a brief history that he will take.

Robyn E. Chubinsky MSAc, Dipl Ac, L.Ac

Robyn E. Chubinsky is a licensed acupuncturist with a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture (PIHMA). Prior to transitioning to Chinese herbal medicine, Robyn spent close to 20 years as a CA Registered Veterinary Technician, working as a traveling nurse in critical care for animals in both California and Arizona.

Growing up in south Mission Beach San Diego, Robyn earned an associate degree in animal health science from San Diego Mesa Community College in 2005. Upon passing her California state and National board exams, she began working as a Registered Veterinary Technician in specialty veterinary medicine, focusing on emergency and critical care, surgery, neurology, and internal medicine. In the early 2000s, she volunteered her time to the American Red Cross, being part of the Disaster Action Team, and taking courses on topics such as weapons of mass destruction and chemical warfare.

In 2008, Robyn left sunny San Diego, California for even sunnier Phoenix, Arizona, while still contracting with multiple Emergency Hospitals across the valley. In 2014, she began contracting with a veterinary hospital known for its holistic approach to healthcare, utilizing herbal medicines, homeopathy, Chinese herbal medicine, and acupuncture. Working alongside Arizona’s only pioneer veterinarians who practice this array of medicine, Robyn became fascinated with natural yet effective methods to heal the body and decided to pursue a degree in traditional Chinese medicine, which she received from PIHMA in 2021.

As of today, Robyn has helped hundreds of clients in their physical, mental, and emotional healing processes, specializing in acupuncture, tui na, moxa, cupping, and herbal medicinal remedies. Robyn focuses on pain management, athletic injuries, and autoimmune disorders, while also treating emotional issues such as PTSD, depression, trauma, hypo/hyperthyroid, hormonal imbalance, and allergies. She wishes to pursue further certification in nutrition soon. Given her extensive western medical background, she aims to incorporate more western diagnostics into her practice over time, bringing together both fields to assist her patients in achieving the best outcome for their overall health.

  • Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM)

  • Diplomate of Acupuncture (Dipl Ac) NCCAOM
